How to create a Blogger sitemap? Don’t worry friends, the default sitemap is always available to use. If you would like to create a structured sitemap, then there are various sitemap tools available.
The default sitemap of your blogspot looks something of this sort:
RSS and Atom are two different types of web feeds. RSS is the most widely accepted and used, but Atom is relatively a newer version of web feed which is doing perfectly well. Atom is filled with lots of new features which are robust.

Steps to submit the sitemap to Google:
1. Log in to your Google Webmaster Tool. You are now in your Google Webmaster Home page. You see something of this sort:
Click on Add a site…
2. Add your blogspot like this http://blogspotname.blogspot.com
Now your site is listed in your home page. Click on your recently added site. You are taken to the Dashboard for that site.
3. On your Dashboard, you see many things like search queries, crawl errors and so on. On the bottom right corner you will be seeing “Sitemaps”, below that “Submit a Sitemap”. Click on that.
4. On the next page, again you see “Submit a Sitemap”. Click on it and you see something of this sort:
Here, you either use rss.xml or atom.xml. Both of them works fine.
Note: If you are using Feedburner to redirect your feeds, this sitemap will cause crawler problem in your Webmaster tool. The solution is to submit the way shown below:
Alternative solution to the sitemap crawler problem is to use the Sitemap Generator tool and use the generated ones to add it to your Google Webmaster manually.
