Required Items to Begin:
1. Any Mailing Service offering the print the mail service(Gmail, Yahoomail and so on).
2. Mail open to convert it to PDF.
3. Google Chrome (Important)
I tried this method with Firefox, but it doesn’t work there. So Google Chrome is necessary to convert your mail to PDF.
Steps to convert the mail to PDF in Gmail:
STEP 1: Log in to your Gmail Account.
STEP 2: Open the mail to be saved as PDF.
STEP 3: Click on the Print Icon as shown below after opening the mail:
Or, click on the small down arrow and click on print as shown below:
STEP 4: It opens up 2 windows, one is the preview window and another is the print preview window.
Here is the print preview page for Chrome:
STEP 5: Under the “Destination” tab, you need to select “Print to PDF” 🙂
Important: Don’t forget to select all pages if you have multiple pages in your e-mail.
That’s it done! All your mail contents are converted to PDF and saved to your hard disk.
Steps to convert the mail to PDF in Yahoomail:
STEP 1: Log in to YahooMail. Open the Mail.
STEP 2: Click on the print option above after opening the mail as:
STEP 3: Print option will open up the preview window. Click on Print again in the next window as shown:
STEP 4: The next window would be similar to the one for Gmail. It opens the browser with the command as chrome://print/
Rest of the steps are same as for Gmail.
