Creating an Impressive photo is matter of composition and time consuming with proper effect. Designers can do photoshop for applying effects and different things on photo. But for android users and photo editing people, there is app Instagram. Instagram is social media site where people can share their memories in visual display photos.
If you don’t have Instagram app then do as follows :
- Open Google play store.
- Search “Instagram”.
- Download and Install instagram apk file.
Now when you create or capture photos from your android device, you can apply some really cool effects on your photos to make it more better the way you want.
Sometimes it’s better to have your own instagram filters, as by defaults there are limited effect filters available on insta.

1 : Use Shift
Shift is free app for android devices with jellybean 4.1 and higher versions.
The first time you open the application will see a demo of the shuffle function. However, you can learn a little more about how the application works on the web shiftbypixite.com.
2 : Edit Images
Before you create a custom filter with Shift you will have to choose a picture to work. Click the camera icon at the top and then choose whether you want to take a picture (Take a photo) or select one that you have in the gallery of Android device (Choose photo) .
3 : Mode Selection
If you want flashy flash but don’t have time to start from scratch to create your own instagram filter then use random mode.
After opening an image in Shift, click on the button with two arrows and they will apply different filters. Then move points to vary the filter effects.
4 : Place points
Adjusts picture placing the points in the desired position. You can move them one by one, by clicking on one and dragging , or move them all at once, press out of the points and dragging .
You can also tweak the image to adjust the depth and strength of the filter.
5 : Create your own filter
Adjusts the filter sliders at the bottom, the left adjusts the intensity of the filter , while the right is used to apply a range of colors. Combined with the position of the points, you can create some very interesting effects.
6 : Save the filter
When you’re satisfied with the result, click the star button to save the filter. , along with a name preview the filter applied to the image appears.
All filters you create, will be added to the bottom of the screen to save them later
7 : Remove a filter
The undo button will discard any changes you have made to the filters. To completely remove a filter, click on the filter and slide it up , it will appear on a red X rectangular, click on it to confirm the removal of the filter.
8 : Share Instagram ( Optional )
Click the icon to share to send the picture to Instagram, where you can customize settings and issues and then share it in your network.
Instagram gives you the opportunity to apply other filters, but perhaps it is too filter, so the normal filter applied .
9 : Post-issue Instagram

Instagram also provides a toolbar to adjust the brightness, contrast, Warmth, Saturation, Color, lights, shadows and other advanced options. All settings have a slider to adjust each value. Use them to alter the image.
Order the filters
Some filters are used more than others. So to have them at hand, you can place them at the beginning of the list. Click on Administer, at the end of the filter list, and from the screen that appears, drag the filters in the order you want, or disable them as desired.
Mix multiple filters
As stated earlier, apply a filter on Shift and then edit the image in Instagram, that can give you disappointing results, but that does not mean you can not do. Mix multiple filters successfully is possible, but you’ll waste a lot of time with “trial and error”.
